ALL ABOARD!!!! shouts the conductor of the train as it pulls away from the station. The engine begins slowly pulling the cars along the track, gaining speed, until finally they are flying past the doors and windows of the station and on their way to adventure.
Our journey on Friday night began with watching a movie and ended with reading our books. Sounds awfully boring, I know, but I'm about to tell you what happened in between these time markers. Our fun loving and adventure seeking beings couldn't help but create a night full of excitement and pleasure, for us and our fan club.

We've marched around the quad before. First with blankets on our heads, secondly as pirates. And I'm sure there have been other times. And this ride was the perfect compliment to our latter craziness. Before our darling Shli left we had a party where we built a cardboard train. And then we drew graffiti all over it, making Shli's dreams come true! It was a grand party, involving so much that the night slipped by too quickly and unfortunately, Shli moved away before we could realize the true power and glory of The Friendly Mushroom Express. Then last night came and we fulfilled it for her. In our cardboard train cars, with paparazzi and everything, we paraded in song around the quad. Pulling up to our front door, the crowd finally dispersed and we were left to disembark the train for the final time. Now the Friendly Mushroom Express has been retired, but we kept the license plates as a reminder of our good times.

In addition to our train ride in the dark, we took a flight to the library in search of some last minute books that were needed for Panda's sanity. We ran across streets and through the night to arrive at the library with only minutes to spare. Our quick feet proved useful and we were successful at retrieving the much desired Percy Jackson books. Read them and love them!!
This is for you, Shli!!! We miss you!
